The curriculum outlines the RACGP's expectations of the body of knowledge and skill that every GP should acquire and maintain through continuing professional development.
The curriculum framework is built around Domains of General Practice, Priority Learning Areas and National Health Priorities as shown in the diagram below.

Exact amounts of learning required within the individual areas of this framework are not specified by the curriculum nor are there any weightings of the relative importance of each area but ideally, a balanced coverage of topics is expected of vocationally recognised GPs.
